Ben Peterson has contributed to branding, research, and creative efforts for corporate, academic and nonprofit clients for Peterson Skolnick & Dodge since 2000.
Prior to joining PS&D full time, Ben helped re-structure and expand media relations for a variety of nonprofit organizations. After serving as head of exhibitor relations for Luke Films, he established and directed public relations for Oregon Catholic Press, a Portland-based company producing worship resources that are used in two-thirds of Catholic churches in the United States and distributed worldwide. His work for OCP resulted in regional, national, international and new media coverage for artists, products and services. Ben began his career as a journalist for J Weekly, formerly known as the Jewish Bulletin of Northern California.
With Peterson Skolnick & Dodge, Ben focuses on research, copywriting, brand development, and the use of new and emerging media tools. His work includes projects for Princeton University, UC Berkeley School of Law, Stanford University School of Medicine, New York University School of Law, California State Parks, and the San Francisco Symphony.
Ben graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in creative writing in 2000.
